ESL hosted the Season 3 Starcraft 2 World Championship Series, which took place last week in Burbank on August 13th.
16 Starcraft 2 players fought to make it into the Round of 16, moving closer to a chance to compete at Blizzcon.
On day two, there were four featured players set to take the stage--Elfi, Starbuck, Kelazhur, and Hydra.
Fans of the game are probably familiar with Shin “Hydra” Dongwon, the winner of the World Championship Series in Season 2. He's the heavy favorite to win Season 3 and made quick work of his two opponents this time around.
And thus, the road to Blizzcon continues!
