Publisher EA has announced that, in collaboration with LucasFilm, Star Wars: Squadrons on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One will get brand-new cosmetics based on The Mandalorian.
There are eight customization items in total that Squadrons players can unlock starting on Wednesday, October 28. This includes bobbleheads and hanging accessories for the cockpits, holograms that can be viewed inside the ships, and decals for starfighters.
This also includes a Baby Yoda (or "Mysterious Creature") bobblehead that sits on the dashboard of any New Republic ship. Check the unlockable cosmetics in the image below.
Just in time for The Mandalorian Season 2.This comes just before The Mandalorian Season 2 hits Disney+ on October 30. While Season 2 premieres later this week, Disney has already confirmed that a third season of The Mandalorian is in pre-production.
Developer Motive Studios recently confirmed that Squadrons will not receive any post-launch DLC. The team, however, released a patch earlier this month that tweaks flight controls.
The game has received a positive reception since it launched on October 2. In our Star Wars: Squadrons review, editor Edmond Tran said, "The involved nature of juggling all tasks required to operate your cool starfighter at peak efficiency while soaking in the more mechanical sights and sounds of Star Wars is a stimulating experience that Squadrons just gets right."
