Star Wars Battlefront Patch 1.02 Released Before the Proper Launch, Fixes Matchmaking-October 2024
Oct 20, 2024 11:34 PM

The second update for Star Wars: Battlefront has just been released before it launches on the PS4, PC and the Xbox One for those without EA Access. Not exactly groundbreaking, though there are improvements to matchmaking and other general small stability issues.

Second update before Battlefront even officially releases.

Star Wars: Battlefront is almost here, being a much anticipated revival of this series. It brings us into modernity with the Frostbite 3 engine and a plethora of supposedly great authentic Star Wars inspired set-pieces and environments.

There's some dismissal of it as a merely a facelifted Battlefield, though if you've had a chance to enjoy Star Wars: Battlefront through EA Access on the Xbox One, you might find that it plays and feels decidedly different than what Battlefield does. So while it shares some base similarities, it's also it's very own game that has that Star Wars magic that we've all been missing.

The full patch notes are below, and they happen to be very similar to the previous notes as well.

Tweaked hero card spawn timesGeneral bug fixes for the partner systemVarious fixes for getting stuck when exiting Starfighters and ground vehiclesGeneral crash and stability fixesOnline traffic performance improvementsVarious text fixes for all languagesGeneral bug fixes for both Missions and MultiplayerMatchmaking fix
