The second update for Star Wars: Battlefront has just been released before it launches on the PS4, PC and the Xbox One for those without EA Access. Not exactly groundbreaking, though there are improvements to matchmaking and other general small stability issues.
There's some dismissal of it as a merely a facelifted Battlefield, though if you've had a chance to enjoy Star Wars: Battlefront through EA Access on the Xbox One, you might find that it plays and feels decidedly different than what Battlefield does. So while it shares some base similarities, it's also it's very own game that has that Star Wars magic that we've all been missing.
The full patch notes are below, and they happen to be very similar to the previous notes as well.
