Konami announced today that it has granted Square the rights to release Gekikuukan Pro Baseball: At the End of the Century 1999. Konami has owned the rights to Japan's Professional Baseball League license since last April. Square initially planned the release of the baseball game sometime in March, but due to difficulties in development, the game was delayed. Both companies were negotiating terms that would allow the game to be released.
Gekikuukan Pro Baseball: At the End of the Century 1999 is now scheduled for release on September 7 in Japan.
