PC gamers got their hands on Splinter Cell: Conviction two weeks later than their Xbox 360-playing counterparts, but they won't need any extra patience when the game's first downloadable content launches later this month. Ubisoft today announced that the Deniable Ops Insurgency Pack would arrive on both PC and Xbox 360 May 27, with an asking price of 800 Microsoft points ($10).

　　The extra achievement points in the Insurgency Pack might make those Ops a whole lot less Deniable. The Insurgency Pack contains new cooperative missions for Archer and Kestrel on four new maps for the game's Deniable Ops co-op modes. Players will be able to take on new missions in the game's four different co-op modes and earn an additional 250 achievement points for their troubles.

　　Conviction is set two years after Splinter Cell: Double Agent, which saw series hero Sam Fisher become a fugitive from the FBI, NSA, and an alphabet soup of other agencies. In the course of investigating his daughter's death, the now-grizzled Fisher discovered that his former employer, the covert organization Third Echelon, has double-crossed him. Avoiding capture, he travels to Washington, D.C., to uncover the conspiracy that led to his undeserved disgrace.
