Sony Computer Entertainment plans to release colored PlayStation 2 peripherals, according to reports from online retailers in Japan. For the Dual Shock 2 controllers and memory cards, playersyou can now choose from the new colors: crimson red, emerald green, lemon yellow, and crystal. The price of the Dual Shock 2 and memory card will both be reduced from 3,500 yen to 2,800 yen. The Dual Shock controller for the PSOne will also be reduced from 3,300 yen to 2,500 yen.
The new PlayStation 2 peripherals will debut on June 27 in Japan.
