989 Studios, the company behind the Sony PlayStation's first-party titles like Twisted Metal and Jet Moto, has announced the launch of a new development studio in Santa Monica, Calif.
"The Santa Monica studio will be staffed with the designers and producers of the original Twisted Metal and Jet Moto series, and we expect to see similar ground-breaking new genre franchises emerge from this eclectic and creative team," said the studio.
