Sony has detailed the entertainment apps that will be available when the PlayStation 4 launches across Europe on Friday.

　　18 applications will be available across various territories, with 10 available in the UK. These include the BBC iPlayer, Netflix, and Lovefilm in the UK, alongside Wuaki.TV in Spain, Watchever in Germany, and RTBF in Belgium.

　　All of the entertainment applications will be available without a PlayStation Plus subscription, Sony adds. Microsoft's Xbox One requires an Xbox Live Gold subscription for apps.

　　Following launch, Sony says over 20 applications will reach the PS4 before Spring 2014, including Game One, FilmoTV, and TuneIn.

　　The PlayStation 4 launches across Europe this Friday, November 29. The machine has been available in the US and Canada since November 15.
