Collaboration Properties, Inc. today announced that Sony has secured the rights to use a number of its patents to be used in videoconferencing products, video-enabled PCs, "and Sony Computer Entertainment PlayStation products." It seems Sony is going to be increasingly integrating the use of video into its games. The company has patented a new game system control interface built around a camera attachment, and has committed to bring the EyeToy line to the PlayStation 3 with games like Eye of Judgment.
