The March 11 earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan has seen companies across the world doing their part to help the country get back on its feet. Sony Hong Kong recently announced the company's international "Aid Japan" program, where gamers can purchase and download an exclusive Cross Media Bar (XMB) theme for their PlayStation 3s.
The proceeds of the download will be donated by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. to the Central Community Chest of Japan, a charity organization that supports emergency relief and recovery efforts. The exclusive XMB theme comes with four prices: S$2($1.60), S$5, S$10, and S$50. Multiple contributions are acceptable, though there is only one type of theme available for download.
