TOKYO--Sony announced the PlayStation Awards 2004, honoring the best-selling PlayStation and PlayStation 2 titles of the year. Eleven titles received the Golden award, given to games that record above 500,000 and below one million in unit sales. Four titles were honored with the Platinum award, which is given to games that record between one and two million units sold. No titles received the Double Platinum award, which is given to titles that sell over two million units. The games that received PlayStation Awards this year are:
