Sno-Cross Championship Racing Shots-October 2024
Oct 27, 2024 4:23 PM

Sno-Cross Championship Racing is being developed by UDS, the company responsible for creating the PlayStation title No Fear Downhill Mountain Biking Codemasters released last year. The game lets you race three different leagues in seven different locations, including the Olympic city of Nagano (Japan), Aspen Colorado (US) and a naval ship graveyard in Murmansk (Russia). You can race each track in different weather conditions and at different times of the day - midday, dawn, and night.

Swedish developer UDS is working closely with the snowmobile manufacturer Yamaha on the game's development - you'll race models based on actual counterparts, developed in Tokyo by Yamaha's R&D department. UDS then uses the original CAD-models Yamaha developed to build the low-polygon in-game models, which will feature real-time damage. You can also upgrade and repair your snowmobiles after each race.

The game will also feature a track editor. You'll be able to edit and save tracks you design to the PlayStation memory card. In multiplayer, the title offers split-screen gameplay.

Crave is publishing the game, with plans to launch the PC and PlayStation versions this summer. The Dreamcast version will not see daylight until later this fall.
