The latest update for Smite is now available on Xbox One. It doesn't add any new characters, but it does bring some significant changes to the way Ne Zha looks and the way Ravana plays.

Ravana, who was added last summer, has been reworked pretty significantly, and as such will be temporarily banned from ranked play for the time being. Basic attacks and abilities now increase Ravana's combo chain, and once it reaches eight, he gets a shield equal to six percent of his maximum health. The shield can stack up to three times, effectively representing an 18 percent health buff when at max combo.
His Prana Onslaught attack, meanwhile, can now hit from further away, does more damage, and slows more and for longer. The 10-Hand Shadow Fist ability now heals for every target it hits, rather than being limited to a single god and three minions. And his Ultimate, Mystic Rush, doesn't lock on to enemies anymore. Instead, it takes Ravana to the targeted location and does significantly more damage, though it can now miss.
Ne Zha's model has changed a good deal; he now has new animations and particle effects. There are also new skins for a handful of characters, including the excellent Siege Engine skin for Xing Tian.
Clash is now a permanent mode, with the beta tag having been removed and practice and co-op versions being added. Co-op versions of other modes, meanwhile, will now be more difficult (at least for newer players) thanks to the introducing of a medium-difficulty AI setting. An easy version of Arena will remain for brand-new players.
This patch also introduces some various fixes and tweaks for a few characters, as well as a number of new character-specific achievements. And although it's not listed in the patch notes, the overview video above notes that improvements to the camera from the PC version are now available, making it easier to look down in front of you. This should be particularly useful when playing larger characters like Khepri.
Smite's next patch on Xbox One should bring with it Amaterasu, the newest character to be added to the PC version. Also coming up are daily quests, a revamped active items system, and more.
