The A freshly released The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim DLC mod makes the official Dragonborn expansion feel small.

More than a decade after the game's release, the modding community is actively releasing interesting mods for Skyrim, and today we wanted to share a large-scale fully-fledged campaign mod for the game. According to the creator of this puzzle-oriented fan DLC, 'Krein' rivals the size of the Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim, which offers around 6 hours of gameplay. An additional content update for this mod, but this depends on community interest. If there's enough interest, this second expansion pack is to be released sometime next year.

"Krein is a story-driven, puzzle-oriented DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim geared for players that are interested in game puzzles and strategic RPG-style combat", the creator of the mod writes.  "Offering a fully-fledged new adventure across various landscapes and worlds, its size rivals that of the official Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn DLC. The adventure is crafted to maintain immersion on behalf of the player, integrating into the world in a seamless way."

More information about the Krein DLC-sized mod can be found on the mod's official website here. The mod can downloaded from there or via Nexusmods.

In other Skyrim-related news: digital artist 'Leo Torres'' has just released a fan creation of Winterhold, the former major city in Northern Skyrim, within Unreal Engine 5. The project is part of an ongoing project to visualize a more realistic and lore-accurate scale of Tamriel’s cities. According to the artist, the video was rendered in Unreal Engine 5.3.2 on an NVIDIA RTX 360Ti GPU using a mix of third-party models and custom assets. In addition, the video features Unreal Engine's Nanite and Lumen tech for models, foliage, global illumination, and reflections. It's a great-looking showcase that The Elder Scrolls fans will surely appreciate. Check out the video below:
