Atari's Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas is fast approaching stores.
Like its cartoon movie inspiration, Sinbad follows the legendary Arabian sailor as he seeks to save his best friend and find the fabled Book of Peace. The game features 3D-action gameplay and is timed to coincide with the film's release on DVD.
However, the game could face rough seas when it hits shelves. Will the fact that the film Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas was a flop when it hit theaters impact game's sales? Additionally, one wonders if the game, with its cartoon-like graphics and youth appeal would seem more aptly-suited to console play. Currently, the title is due for the PC market only.
One thing that shouldnt stand in the way of this game's retail success is its price. The game is rated "T" for teen and has a wallet-friendly MSRP of $19.99.
