Today, we've seen a new trailer that teased the upcoming ARG-like experience known as Silent Hill: Ascension. The details regarding the upcoming game have also been revealed with this latest trailer, allowing players to have a look at the new and terrifying monsters that will lurk in the shadows as the outcome of the game is decided by the players themselves. Yes, that means that even the fate of the characters is up to you, the player.

　　Silent Hill Ascension is an upcoming project that would essentially rely on player input to decide the outcome of its protagonists in a way that transcends usual video game standards. The game follows the characters as they go through their horrifying journeys from locations around the world, tormented by monsters that threaten to consume their loved ones and, by extension, their sanity as they are hounded by their traumas brought by long-suppressed guilt and fears.

　　The fear brought by Silent Hill Ascension will be experienced by the collective audience globally in a large scale. Using Genvid's streaming technology for Massive Interactive Live Events (MILEs), players will collectively decide the outcome of the game, as their decisions will directly and permanently influence what happens to the characters within the game. The players will decide who gets to live or die along the way as events unfold.

Clearly, there are still some curious audiences wondering where this new project in the Silent Hill universe will go and what decisions the audiences will be faced with once the project gets released later this year.
