In late April, Shift 2: Unleashed welcomed the Legends pack, a downloadable add-on that packed in 14 classic vehicles from the 1960s and 1970s. Now, publisher Electronic Arts is revving up additional content for Slightly Mad's racing game.

　　Debuting on the Xbox 360 on May 17 will be the Speedhunters add-on pack for Shift 2. The 800 Microsoft point ($10) content adds two new racing branches, 14 fresh vehicles, and six tracks to the racing world. The add-on was announced also for a May 17 debut for the PlayStation 3, but the PlayStation Network is not expected to come back online until May 31. The content was not announced for the PC. Shift 2 gets Drag racing and 14 new cars next Tuesday.

　　The two new branches for Shift 2 are Drag and Standing mile. Drag tasks racers with achieving the greatest speed over a quarter-mile stretch, and Standing mile has gamers in pursuit of the highest speed over the course of an entire mile.

　　Each branch adds nine new events and forces gamers to drive using manual gear change, with traction control features toggled off. Additionally, both new branches give gamers new customization options where players can design their rigs to reach 1,000 horsepower, making cars capable of reaching a blistering 250mph.

　　In addition to the 14 new vehicles (listed below) coming in the Speedhunters pack, the content pack bundles six new tracks in three locations for gamers to race in (also listed below). To see the content in action check out the Speedhunters trailer embedded below.
