Shatner to captain Canadian game awards show-April 2024
Apr 23, 2025 7:59 PM

The inaugural Canadian Awards for Electronic and Animated Arts are going where no game awards show has gone before--Richmond, British Columbia--and the organizers have found a suitably trailblazing host for the event in William Shatner. The 75-year-old Montreal-born actor who played Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek will help commemorate his countrymen's achievements in animation, game creation, and education in those fields. The awards show is scheduled to take place September 14.
