Shadow Warrior 2, the first person slasher game developed by independent developer Flying Wild Hog, is finally slashing its way on PC. If you cannot wait to show your katana to enemies up close, you will be happy that you won't have to wait much longer to do this.
Shadow Warrior 2 will finally launch on PC next month, on October 13th, with the game now available for pre-order on Steam, GOG and Humble. By pre-ordering the game, players will be able to enjoy a 10% off the game's full price as well as receive the exclusive "Razorback" chainsaw katana as bonus. Also, those who already own Shadow Warrior and Hard Reset Redux will be able to enjoy an additional 10% off. Those who want to step to the next level can also purchase the Shadow Warrior 2 Deluxe release, which includes the Shadow Warrior 2 soundtrack, the Art of Shadow Warrior 2 digital book, and the Solid Gold Pack that includes an exclusive gold co-op ninja skin, katana and MP7 gun.
Those who were thinking about getting Shadow Warrior 2 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will unfortunately have to wait a bit longer than PC players. The team confirmed that the console version of the game will only be coming sometime next year.
Shadow Warrior 2 will improve on the original's gameplay experience, providing more of the dynamic slashing experience that made the first game quite fun to play.
