Sega of America has announced that it will be the presenting sponsor of the ACG Indoor snowboarding and music festival in Los Angeles. The event, hosted by Nike, will feature snowboard quarter-pipe competitors from around the world vying for US$75,000 in prize money. The rapper Eminem will provide musical entertainment, accompanied by pyrotechnics and laser shows.
"Sega is honored to be the presenting sponsor of this event," said Heather Kashner, manager of consumer promotions at Sega of America. "This event will infuse our core audience with all the forms of entertainment they enjoy - especially video games. There is no better place to reach our demographic and give them a first taste of some of the hottest Dreamcast games coming out this fall."
"Dreamcast presents the ACG Indoor" festival will be broadcast at 11:00 am on October 7 on the USA Network. Ticket information for the event will be made available in July.
