Friday we got an official confirmation from Sega of America that yes, Virtua Fighter 3 tb (Team Battle) and Sega Rally 2 are coming to Dreamcast. Announcements from SOA as to North American releases are still forthcoming. These two titles are expected to be available at the launch of the system in 1999.

　　As reported yesterday, VF3tb will be released late in the year and according to Sega will be a "perfect translation." VF3tb's got 12 characters, 13 stages (including walled arenas), a team battle system for tournament play, and one- and two-player action.

　　Rally 2 will also ship late in the year and will include features specific to the Dreamcast version of the game. Rally 2 has ten courses (compared with the arcade's four), more than ten cars (the arcade has six), and special modes of play include time attack, car setting, record, replay, and more, plus online network play.

　　On a side note, the shots of these two games that we first reported as Dreamcast shots are in fact arcade shots. At the time we were under the impression that they were DC shots but have since learned otherwise.
