It's been a long, hot, dry summer. But if you're a Sega fan who lives near Wilmington, NC (or if you're willing to travel there), there's some excitement coming your way in the form of SegaCon, a two-day Sega convention being held there.
The event will take place in Wilmington, NC, on August 15-16; an exact location for the event has yet to be decided. It will feature dealers and numerous activities including contests, tournaments, cosplay, and karaoke, and there will even be a place to get a territory switch installed in your system.
Admission for the two-day event will cost you US$25 or $30, depending on whether you pay in advance or at the door. Sega and PlanetWeb have donated prizes to be given out during the event, and Twin Galaxies is sponsoring the convention's tournaments.
More details on the event can be found at SegaCon's web site.
