Bungie has published a trailer for Destiny's upcoming Halloween-themed Festival of the Lost event and revealed more details about it.
The video (above) is narrated by the character Eris Morn. The juxtaposition of her serious tone ("sugar is a fickle friend," she says at one point) with over-the-top nature of the new masks and emotes is pretty funny. As you'll see in the video, Destiny's Tower has been decorated for the occasion.

Now Playing: Destiny - Festival of the Lost Trailer
Players can unlock new masks, gear, emotes, and consumables themed around Halloween and things that are spooky/creepy/weird. Additionally, there is a new quest in the Iron Temple, which was introduced to Destiny in September's Rise of Iron expansion.
Additionally, Destiny's Festival of the Lost event introduces some new Exotic weapon Ornaments for Bad Juju--they are on display in the video above and can also be seen here. Bungie's Festival of the Lost plans were revealed early through a leak.
Festival of the Lost, which returns from last year, will run October 25 through November 8.
Destiny is not the only game celebrating Halloween. Overwatch, Rocket League, World of Warcraft, Smite, Street Fighter V, and others are also taking part. Check out GameSpot's roundup here to learn more.
