Secret Weapons Over Normandy took off for the factory today. Developed by Totally Games and published by LucasArts, the game joins the already crowded field of World War II-themed games.
Secret Weapons Over Normandy has a misleading title, since it lets players engage in dogfights in the skies above Russia, the Pacific, and other battlefields as well as the D-Day invasion. The game incorporates elements of flight simulation with fast-paced WWII action, allowing gamers to fly planes, man gun turrets, and even parachute into enemy bases on the ground. Secret Weapons Over Normandy is available for the PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 2. It is rated 'T' for Teen, retails for $49.99, and is scheduled to ship to stores on November 18.
