Team EnvyUs has acquired OpTic Gaming's Seth 'Scumpii' Abner in what is the first formal player transfer in console Call of Duty esports. Longtime Envy member and veteran Call of Duty player Raymond “Rambo” Lussier will be transferring into a coaching/management role. With these changes, Joe ”Merk” Deluca has been named Captain of the team.

Team Co-owner Mike 'Hastro' Rufail has commented on the move:

"Seth is a player that we've loved watching develop for years", Rufail said. "He's had an unforgettable run with OpTic Gaming and did things with that team that were admired by the entire community of professional players, fans and media. He's a player we really wanted to have in 2014 and we're excited to see him in a blue jersey."

The lineup now consists of Joe 'Merk' Deluca (Captain), Jordan 'Proofy' Cannon, Seth 'Scumpii' Abner, Jevon 'Goonjar' Gooljar, and Raymond 'Rambo' Lussier.

The transfer comes on the heels of OpTic Gaming's own announcement that Clay 'Clayster' Eubanks would be joining the team to team up with Ricky 'Ricky' Stacy and Matt 'Nadeshot' Haag.
