Earlier this month, the Satanic Temple announced it was suing Warner Bros. for copyright infringement over the Netflix show Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Specifically, the Satanic Temple said the show ripped off its goat-headed Baphomet creature, which was apparently copyrighted. The Temple was suing for at least $50 million an injunction, but now the two sides have reached a settlement.
Satanic Temple co-founder and spokesperson Lucien Greaves said on Twitter that the case was "one of the most overpublicized" copyright claims ever. In a statement, the Temple said it reached an "amicable" settlement with Warner Bros. and Netflix.

Now Playing: History Of Sabrina The Teenage Witch
So ends one of the most overpublicized of copyright claims. Press can now stop pretending this was unique & momentous, or even interesting. So, too, hopefully ends the parade of stupidity from online amateur legal experts.https://t.co/eSg1fl3sdv

As part of the settlement, the end credits of Sabrina will now acknowledge the "unique elements" of the Baphomet statue. Because the show has already been filmed, there won't be any changes in the actual content, however. The rest of the settlement terms are subject to a confidentiality agreement, and are thus not being disclosed.
Chilling Adventure of Sabrina stars Kiernan Shipka as 16-year-old Sabrina, along with Lord of the Rings star Mirando Otto as her aunt Zelda and Wonder Woman's Lucy Davis as her other aunt Helga. The cat Salem is also in the show, but he doesn't talk like he did on the '90s TV show Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is much darker and more violent take on that show, in general.
The 10 episodes of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premiered on Netflix at the end of October. A Christmas special is due out on December 14, with a second season to follow later.
