Electronic Arts announced on Monday that it will bring the action-packed sport of RollerJam to the PlayStation. A modern take on the sport of Rolly Derby, RollerJam blends the action of hockey with the showmanship of wrestling.
The PlayStation game of RollerJam will let gamers assume the roles of popular RollerJam stars and race around tracks. The players will have the ability to perform all of the signature moves of the characters. There will be five World Skating League teams that can be used in the game - California Quakes, New York Enforcers, Nevada Hot Dice, Flordia Sundogs, and Illinois Riot. "The sport of RollerJam is an exciting and entertaining experience that lends itself well to a video game," said executive producer Steve Sims. "We are thrilled to bring RollerJam to PlayStation fans."
RollerJam for the Sony PlayStation is currently slated for a summer 2000 release.
