Global Star, a division of Take-Two, announced today that Robotech: Invasion has shipped to retail stores across North America for the Xbox and PlayStation 2. Developed by Vicious Cycle and featuring an original storyline that takes place in the world of the TV anime series Robotech: The New Generation, Invasion focuses on the guerilla war undertaken by humans after the invasion of Earth by the insectlike Invid.
Featuring 15 single-player missions with third-person and first-person gameplay modes, as well as online support for both consoles, Robotech: Invasion is rated "T" for Teen and carries a suggested retail price of $39.99. For more information, check out GameSpot's preview.
