On Monday, Diamond Multimedia will announce the availability of a 64MB Limited Edition of its popular Rio PMP300 MP3 playback device. The updated device comes with a familiar-looking translucent teal color to it - much like the current Apple iMac.
Diamond is also announcing a 32MB flash memory upgrade card for the original 32MB version of the Rio. For those who purchase the Rio between April 12 and July 5, 1999, Diamond will offer a US$50 mail-in rebate. The Rio PMP 300 LE device is available on the Diamond site for $249.95.
