Today, Capcom unexpectedly posted the Resident Evil 7 PC requirements on the game's Steam page. It is rather unusual to get the official requirements four months ahead of launch; regardless, these specs are pretty appropriate and shouldn't constitute an issue for anyone who built a gaming PC in the last two or three years.
Capcom also added target resolution & frame rate for these Resident Evil 7 PC requirements, which is very helpful. Obviously you'll need a stronger hardware than even the one listed under recommended to run the game at 4K resolution smoothly.

Resident Evil 7 biohazard is set to introduce major changes to the series, from the first person view to the new and ordinary protagonist consistently faced by stronger enemies. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 24th, 2017 worldwide (except Japan, which will get it two days later); there will also be full support for PlayStation VR, though there's no word of Resident Evil 7 being compatible with the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift on PC.
