European publisher Infogrames reports phenomenal revenue growth, yet analysts disagree whether the company is still vulnerable.
Infogrames reported fiscal 1997 (through June 30) sales increases of 75 percent to over US$113 million. During that same period, the Europe-based company reported an increase in its net profits by an amazing 92 percent to reach $6.7 million.
As if that wasn't impressive enough, Infogrames expects its first quarter 1998 (ending September 30, 1997) sales will rise 200 percent to reach $41 million in comparison with the same period last year (July 1996 through September 1996) which closed at $13.6 million.
