Quantum3D announced its latest offering, the 16MB Voodoo Banshee-based Raven graphics accelerator, along with a game bundle provided by arcade powerhouse, Midway.
As part of the deal, the Quantum3D Raven will ship with three full Midway titles: NFL Blitz, San Francisco Rush: the Rock-Alcatraz Edition, and Gex: Enter the Gecko. Both Rush and Gex are full 3Dfx Glide-compatible titles, and Blitz has been optimized for Glide. Considering that 3Dfx processors power both arcade versions of Rush and Blitz, the PC ports should look similar to their quarter-eating cousins.
The Raven is priced at US$149 with an additional $30 mail-in rebate and is available through the company's web site, Babbage's, Best Buy, and Electronics Boutique.
