Reports from Japan's Nikkei news say that US-based LBE Systems, an arcade game developer, exhibited its first Pentium II powered arcade machine during the Tokyo Game Show last week.
The Pentium II 333MHz machine was running a special arcade version of Quake. No details were given on what has changed with the arcade edition.
The dispatch said the prototype machine was the first machine of its type introduced in Japan.
