Nihilistic Software Inc., a new company formed by developers who have worked on Dark Forces, Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, Descent, Descent II, and the Quake Mission Pack 2: Dissolution of Eternity, has signed an agreement with Activision. The powerhouse publisher will publish and distribute NSI titles.
Programmer and designer Ray Gresko, programmer Robert Huebner, and computer graphics artist and level designer Steve Tietze are the principals at Nihilistic.
Under the terms of the agreement, Activision will publish the first three titles the company produces. The first of those titles will be a 3D role-playing game, expected to be released in the fall of 1999.
