Turtle Beach announced that it will ship its Vortex 2-based Quadzilla sound card to retailers on June 1.
At the heart of the Quadzilla lies Aureal's latest sound chipset, the Vortex 2. The card features four speaker ports, playback at up to a 48KHz sampling rate, a 320-voice wavetable, a S/PDIF out and full support for A3D 2.0. The Quadzilla also comes bundled with an OEM version of LucasArts' X-Wing: Alliance, called Imperial Entanglements.
Preorders are currently being accepted at the company's web site for US$99.95.
