When Sony's TV service PlayStation Vue launched last year, it lacked Disney channels, which was a major point of differentiation between it and Xbox One's Sling TV. But that's no longer the case, as Sony announced today that Disney channels such as ESPN, ESPN 2, ABC, and Disney Channel have arrived.

Below are the new Disney/ESPN channels coming today:

Sony also noted today that ABC local stations are coming to the New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, and San Francisco markets. Dallas and Miami are getting ABC video-on-demand content, but not until a later date, Sony said.

The other big piece of news today is that PlayStation Vue multi-channel plans are dropping in price by $10. Existing subscribers will see the lower rate for their next billing cycle.

Below is a rundown of the packages and their new monthly price points:

Access: 60+ channels – includes broadcast TV, cable, movies and sports, available for $39.99Core: 75+ channels – includes all the channels in Access with the addition of regional sports networks, available for $44.99Elite: 100+ channels – features all the channels in Access and Core, with the addition of more sports channels, top movie and entertainment networks, available for $54.99PlayStation Vue is currently available in the following markets: Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco.
