Sony and Microsoft are banking on their motion-sensing peripheral add-ons to bolster console sales this holiday season, and that means new hardware bundles for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Microsoft has already announced one Xbox 360 bundle featuring its Kinect camera, and Sony followed suit today with a PS3 Move hardware bundle, as well as higher capacity hard drives for its stand-alone systems.

　　Sony continues to fuel the hard drive storage capacity arms race. When the PlayStation Move launches September 19, Sony will offer a $400 PS3 Sports Champion Move package that includes the new 320GB model of the hardware, a Move controller, the PlayStation Eye camera, a copy of Sports Champions, and a Blu-ray demo disc. A Sony representative told GameSpot that "at this point," the 320GB version of the PS3 hardware can only be purchased in the Move bundle.

　　Sony also today announced a 160GB version of the PS3 that it has already begun shipping to retailers. The new version of the hardware sells for $300, the same price point as the 120GB configuration of the PS3.
