Konami of Europe has today announced that European preorders for the PlayStation 2 version of Pro Evolution Soccer 3, which is scheduled for release on October 17, have exceeded 1 million units. When the Japanese version of the game, Winning Eleven 7, was released earlier this year, a million copies were sold within three weeks.
