Remember when there weren't any boxing games on the PlayStation? Now there's Knockout Kings, Contender, and Knockout Kings 2000 - and now, Prince Naseem Boxing is on the horizon. Based on the flashy 24-year-old WBO Featherweight Champion, Prince Naseem Boxing promises to deliver three modes of boxing in one: world championship style, arcade, and career management. Up to 90 boxers are provided in the game, 16 of them real-life international boxers. A wide range of moves are said to be available, such as hooks, jabs, uppercuts, ducks, weaves, blocks, and both Orthodox and Southpaw styles. Other than the expected single player, versus, and practice modes, a tournament feature appears wherein up to eight players and eight computer opponents face off until only one is left standing.
Expect a full preview once we get our hands on a playable version of the game.
