Ubisoft today released a flood of new information sure to excite Prince of Persia fans the world over. In addition to launching the official Web site for Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, the publisher today released a playable demo of the PC version of the action adventure sequel.
The Web site and demo both show off the darker, more mature, combat-oriented direction in which Warrior Within will take the series--the pounding heavy-rock beats that play over the site intro are a far cry from the atmospheric, nuanced sounds of last year's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. The demo contains the game's opening movie, as well as the "ship level" shown in early screenshots.
The Web site also boasts a blog section where Warrior Within's developers promise to weigh in occasionally on the title's progress.
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within will ship in November for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and PC.
