Electronic Arts announced on Friday that Sled Storm, the first-ever snowmobiling game for the PlayStation, has gone gold. The game has passed Sony's Q/A and is now on track for an August 17 release.
Sled Storm offers 14 different tracks to race through, including open-mountain and circuit-style courses. In addition to the racing aspects of the game, points are also given for successful execution of motocross-like tricks and combinations. Sled Storm also offers four-player competition.
