Sony has unveiled the new PlayStation 4 HDD Edition console with coloured faceplates. The console will be available in Japan on November 6. Seven colours will be available at launch, with gold and silver to be released later. The console was announced during Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia's pre-Tokyo Game Show annual press conference earlier today.
The faceplates will be sold exclusively at Sony stores for 2,500yen (~USD$20). Sony also unveiled new controller colours gold, silver, steel black, and crystal.
Sony has said it will "have more news on release date and pricing [of new contollers] soon".
GameSpot will have a team on the show floor for the duration of Tokyo Game Show. Be sure to stay tuned to the site for more news from the event as it breaks.
