If you're interested in competing in an online "free-market battle of the wits," you might want to sign up to beta test Online Interactive Network's multiplayer game Piggyland.
Those players selected to participate in the Piggyland beta test will get a free year of gameplay once the game is launched plus "a unique avatar to use after the game is released to the public."
The company says it is holding the beta program to test the game's economic parameters and give developers the chance to adjust the economic model "in much the same way that the Federal Reserve makes adjustments."
Who knows, maybe you'll meet Alan Greenspan while you're logged on.
