Amazon will be the exclusive seller of the upcoming Palutena Amiibo when the toy launches later this month, the online retailer announced on Tuesday.
The Palutena Amiibo, based on the Goddess of Light from the Kid Icarus series, will go on sale on July 24. Details regarding the exact preorder availability will be announced on July 22; sign up here for the latest.
Nintendo's website specifies that the Palutena Amiibo will be sold in the United States and Canada exclusively through Amazon "at launch." This suggests you'll be able to buy the toy elsewhere later.
The Palutena Amiibo is compatible with a handful of Nintendo Wii U and 3DS games, including Super Smash Bros., Hyrule Warriors, Mario Party 10, and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
Nintendo's Amiibo toys launched last year and, according to Nintendo, sales have "smashed" the company's own projections. For its part, Nintendo has apologized for Amiibo shortages and pledged better communication with fans about availability.
