Star Wars: Battlefront--the one from 2004, not DICE's 2015 Star Wars Battlefront reimagining--received a new update on Steam that turns the online multiplayer servers on. The update arrived just in time for May 4th's Star Wars Day celebrations, giving old-school shooter fans a chance to play the original take on large-scale Star Wars battles to see how it compares to DICE's own offerings.

　　"Online multiplayer on Steam has been added to the game," the update reads. It also adds several language options to the menu--including French, German, Italian, and Spanish--implements "additional audio support," and makes some quality-of-life adjustments for "a number of different screen sizes." 　　Star Wars: Battlefront's online multiplayer update follows not long after DICE launched the final major piece of post-launch content for Star Wars Battlefront 2. This expansion, titled The Battle on Scarif, dropped on April 29 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It included tons of cosmetics, game mode changes, and balance tweaks.
