PoohManDuSKT T1 K
What more could you ask for? SKT T1 K is still the hands down best team in the world, even if they suffered their first loss in six months to their sister team, SKT S, just a few weeks ago. But, they haven't made it out of the group yet. A 0:2 loss to the KT Arrows could place them just out of playoff contention. Their number one place is being called into question for the first time since the World Championship. It’s clear that PoohManDu played a pivotal role as the teams leader, as SKT K’s shot calling and decision making have deteriorated ever so slightly since his departure. In terms of raw mechanical skill, Casper just isn’t at Pooh's level yet. That doesn't mean he won’t be anytime soon, SKT is the best organization in the world at turing solo queue superstars into world class players in competitive play. Overall, you should expect the same performance we are used to seeing with SKT K.
KT Rollster Arrows
It isn’t just the bullets who are struggling to adapt to the roster changes in the KT organization, they Arrows seems to be struggling as well. Last week started off with a loss to Samsung Ozone in Masters, followed up by being defeated back to back in Champions versus SKT K. In all of their matches from the past week, KTA made strides in the early game but failed to put all of the pieces together towards the mid game. This team definitely has potential, KaKAO is till of of the best junglers in Korea. But, KT A would have to pull off a miracle in order to takes down the likes of SKT K.
Match Prediction: 2 SKT K : KT Arrows 0
It’s mad to think that SKT K will do anything less than a perfect performance in this match, they are undoubtedly the best team in the world.
MadlifeCJ Frost
After the rotating door of midlaners finally stopped on CoCo, Frost has had mixed success in Masters and Champions. They’ve lost to Jin Air Stealths and SKT K and picked up a win over IM #2 in Masters. In Champions, Frost defeated the ametur MIDAS FIO 2:0, but lost to Ozone 0:2 in the next match. CoCo will need to step up to the plate this match and allow Frost’s bot lane to excel by attracting jungle attention and keeping MidKing from roaming. If Frost can move into the mid game with a couple thousand gold over IM, they can use their experience to close out the game.
IM #1
A victory over MIDAS FIO is the only thing IM #1 really has to show for. The Incredible Miracle organization has consistently failed to put up results of significance. The mid and bot lane can have streaks of brilliance and inadequacy all in the same game. There is no reason to expect an IM team to make it past the group stages anytime soon.
Match Prediction: 2 CJ Frost : IM #1 0
Even though Frost is trying to find their former selves, they still excel over IM in just about every aspect.
