The PS2 version of The Sims has once again retained its position atop ELSPA's official UK game sales chart as compiled by Chart-Track, despite the fact that there were two new entries in the top five this week--Resident Evil 0 and Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven. Other new entries this week included Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Sonic Mega Collection, which debuted in positions 13 and 14, respectively.

　　Most of the movement in this week's chart came about as a direct result of the new entries, although Command & Conquer: Generals did drop four places to the ninth position, despite having been on sale for only four weeks. Games that dropped out of the top 20 this week included Treasure Planet, The Sims: Unleashed, Theme Park World, Dancing Stage: Euromix, and Gran Turismo 3.
