"...the result is a game that can't be called anything other than flawless."--GameSpot, 1998.
That was a summary in the review of Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, considered by many to be one of the best games ever made. More than eight years later, a new generation of gamers will soon get their chance to see if the classic has stood up to the test of time.
I know! Ten bucks!?!?
Nintendo today announced that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be available for download on the Wii's Virtual Console on February 26 at 9 a.m. PT. Like other Nintendo 64 titles ported to the VC, the game will cost 1,000 Wii Points ($10).
Nintendo has not announced any other games set for release on the Virtual Console that day. For more information on the game, read GameSpot's review of the N64 version.
