Okay, forget all of that stuff I said last week about sports season beginning. With Washington performing a magnificent choke job to Air Force, Auburn falling in convincing fashion to the Yellowjackets, and Cal's starting quarterback going lame on us, this wasn't a great college football weekend for a few of us here in the office. Still, seeing Oklahoma lose to TCU was great fun, as was watching Tennessee nearly blow it against UAB.
In between hanging my head low thanks to the Tigers' pitiful performance, I spent time checking out the latest build of Madden NFL 06 for PSP. The version I had was obviously an incomplete build--full of strange bugs which I expect will be ironed out in the final build--but, after spending so much time with the game, it's strange to go back and play without the passing cone, which isn't included in the PSP's passing game. It wouldn't have worked on the handheld anyway but it's sort of strange to be able to go back to the game and, you know, actually complete a pass or two...
