Nintendo has announced the Japanese pricing and date of availability for several of its first-party peripherals for the GameCube console. Naturally, the console will ship on September 14 in Japan packed with one controller--additional GameCube controllers will retail for 2,500 yen (about $20). Other GameCube accessories scheduled to ship on September 14 are the basic memory card (1,400 yen~$11), AV cable (3,500 yen~$28), S-Video cable (2,500 yen~$20), and the AC Adapter (3,500 yen~$28). Pricing and availability for accessories such as the Wave Bird wireless controller, the 64MB SD-Memory adapter, the 56k modem, the broadband add-on, and the GBA controller-port cable have not been announced at this time.
